Jumping Rainbows

Something some of you may enjoy...

For as long as I can remember, I've LOVED to color!  However, it has never been a very successful endevor because of my lack of ability to hang onto markers, and/or crayons.  Crayons are a COMPLETE DISASTER because I BREAK THEM IN HALF.  Markers are a little bit better because I can't squash them, but with markers I color all over myself, instead of on the page or poster, and I become a rainbow of colors! What a trade off, huh?  LOL!

Anyway, the other day I wanted to color so badly that I could think of nothing else to do.  So, because I AM CONECTED to the "information super highway", and because there's this wonderful search engine called Google, I decided to see what I could find for online coloring sites.  I went to Google and simply put "online coloring" (without the quotation marks, of course) in the search box.

I'm not sure if I was just incredibly lucky on that particular day, or what it was, but the very first site I clicked on after Google returned the results was exactly what I was looking for!  It's an interactive website that allows you to color the picture right there on the screen just by clicking on the color you want to use, and then the object you want to make that color.  Gone are the days of me squashing crayons between my fingers, and watching them melt before I even had a chance to do anything about it.  Gone are the days of me having to worry about turning myself into a human rainbow, and wondering if the markers were true we going to be washable even if they said they were.  The other neat thing about this site is the fact that you can e-mail the pictures that you've colored to other people, save them in your personal gallery, or even print them.

The website I'm using is: www.coloring.com.  For any of you who love to color as much as I do, but don't love the mess that sometimes comes along with traditional coloring methods, I highly recommend that when you have a few moments, you take a look at this site.

Now, I will admit that a great share of the pictures on this website are very kid oriented, and simple.  I'm pretty sure that that's what this site was originally designed for; that younger population.  It's okay with me though, because I'm still a kid at heart, and I probably always will be!  If any of you have any questions, or thoughts about the site, and would like to share them with me, I would love to hear them!  I'm also going to try to copy and paste a link to my gallery on the coloring website on here, so that all of you can take a look at some of the work I've done recently.  I hope some of you enjoy this site as much as I have!
