All about Jack

Let me tell you a little story ...

When Jack and I first met, I will admit seeing him as "a guy" was the last thing on my mind.  First off, I wasn't shopping for one and secondly, he didn't seem interested in me at all.  He was also pretty high up in the company where I hoped to be some day and all I was thinking about was how to impress him with my work, not my ass.

Then one day I had to go outside to get something - I don't know what - it doesn't matter.  It was a beautiful spring day.  We had come to work to do some OT on a Saturday.  As I walked out the door, it hit me how great the sun felt and I stopped abruptly to stand in the sun, arms outstretched, head back for a minute.

It felt so good it made me do a little dance as I skipped down the sidewalk.  I only got a few steps when I heard a bird singing.  I stopped to see if I could find the bird in the tree.  By the time I found the bird and it had flown away, I had forgotten what it was I was sent out to get.

So I turned around suddenly to go back in.  That's when I caught him: he was looking at me with a look that was unmistakable.  The first thought I had was he looked like a lion ready to pounce.  It was pretty thrilling.  I startled and I think I made a little squeeky noise, and then grinned ear to ear.  He tried to recover, but it was too late.

I think I laughed and said something like, "caught you lookin!" When he tried to deny it, I wouldn't let him and told him I knew that look and it looked like he was ready to eat me up.  I regretted that choice of words because as soon as they were out of my mouth, I was embarrassed.  Still, it was pretty damn cool to see the look.

I found myself flirting with him just to get the thrill of that look again.  Well, one thing led to another and you know the rest of the story.
