The previous night I had this overwhelming urge to write, but didn't have the first idea what to write about. Liz suggested that I write a story using the words river, ivory, briars, maps, mermaid, haunted, webs, light, anthracite, apples, tongues, flute, grey, meadow, frozen, touch, and glow. Thus began the first completely fictional story that I have written since leaving highschool.
My story Ned and the Fat Man is based Ned the Sheep dog, a character created by Laura who became inspired while I was searching for a lost computer in my office. I chose a dog theme because a dog was the main character in the very first completely fictional story that I wrote at a young age.
