Parts of His Word that speak the loudest to me

In recent months, my faith has become immensely strengthened for multiple reasons.  Just a little while ago it came to me that maybe I should put my put my favorite parts of His word here, and have this page be a representation of my new spiritual journey.  That said, just as this journey will be continually growing and changing, so too will this page (or at least that's my plan).  So, check back regularly!  Smile

(NKJV)  Matthew 6:9-13 (Lord's prayer)

9After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father
which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11Give us this day our daily bread.

12And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine
is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.  Amen.

(NKJV)  (Psalm 23:1-6)

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

2 He makes me lie down in green
pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,

3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.

4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

(NKJV)  (Matthew 6:26-34)

26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them.  Are you not of more value than they?  27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
28 “So why do you worry about clothing?  Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.  30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek.  For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.  33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.  34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things.  Sufficient for the day is its own trouble

(NKJV)  (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)

4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
