Winter........... Winter has its own beauty natural and man made.
On the natural side there's the snow ( if you get any, we don't sept for occasional dandruff that melts around 10am lol ) Its so beautiful when it lands on bushes with red berries and green leaves. Very Christmasy look to it. I love watching the snow and to sit in side drinking hot chocolate or to throw snow balls at people in a friendly game never to hurt or humiliate. The wind is cold yes but it makes beautiful patterns with the snow. I love how frozen rain looks dripping in icecicles from the tress and bushes they sparkle in the sunlight it's so beautiful. I love seeing the snow,frost, and ice make patterns on windows and then the sun shines through them making them glow like diamonds.
The man made side is the beautiful lights that people put up for the holidays and the decorations. I love driving home at night and seeing the lights in so many styles and colors. I love them , I wish we could put them up but my parents don't want to as they put waste the money on some lights. To me its not wasteful it's spreading the Christmas cheer and helping to make the world a more beautiful and magical place if even for a few weeks. I love seeing the lit up trees in the yards and through people's window. And I love the lights on the houses especially the icicle lights in the whites and other colors. The people across the street from us put theirs up today and I couldn't help feeling envious of them.
Yes winter can be cold and depressing if you only look at the bad things winter brings. We can't live our lives like that! We have to see the good and the beauty in everything, that is what makes life so special and worth living. I don't see why people can look for the little things that make life so special instead they only look for the bad things. Yes winter brings colds and flus and traffic probs and stuff like that but it also brings beauty with it.
My wish is that all of you will go out and try and find something beautiful about winter and then come back here and tell others what you see through your eyes. And no being negative that will only putt people down. I know because last time when I wrote about Fall through my eyes someone got all negative and instead of seeing that I was doing it to lift peoples spirits and to make them smile they got all negative and said they hated winter cause it makes old people die and spreads sickness etc.... I made this posting to lift peoples spirits by thinking of the beauty of life and the seasons and to go out and find those special things in life that make this world so beautiful not to be negative and to put people down by thinking of the bad things.
SO go out there and find the beauty of this world we live in that comes from nature and the beauty that people add to it. Like the glitter of lights on the snow making it look so magical like crystals and the colored lights reflecting on it making it look like candy. Go and find the beauty that you can see and come and tell others about it!
