Hey Everyone,
Well it is summer vacation! And boy am I ready for it! I have been so stressed out it's not even funny to say that my hair was standing on end would be an understatement! I have been doing alot of thinking. We still haven't heard anything definate about the lab band surgery. The doctor's are talking to insurance about it now, so hopefuly they will decide on something soon. So I can get it over with, this waiting,wondering, and being all woried isn't making my summer all that relaxing at the moment lol. Plus I want to be fully recovered enough to return to school in the fall, because if nothing major happens and everything is ok at school I'm suppose to graduate next spring. A scarey thought, still I can't wait till it's over.
For the summer since the surgery isnt' a sure thing yet even though my chances of getting it seem pretty good. I'm going to volunteer up at the Bible camp again like I did last summer so that if I do get the surgery I'll be able to relax and take it easy and not have to worry about being fired if I don't feel well to come in for a few days or if I have to sit down and rest for frequent periods while I ajust to the 6ounce diet lol. I'm looking forward to working at the camp. I love it up there, lots of fresh air sunshine not traffic noises and best of all.... a pool and cute guys even though none of them like me that don't mean I can't sneak peaks while the guys show off doing bigest splash contests and teach diving to the kids

My friend Megan's birthday is comming up and for her b-day she's either having a pool party or if her mom can get the money she's gona take Megan, Her brother Donnie, Her mom's boyfriend roger, and me to pigeon forge for the weekend. I hope we get to go to pigeon forge cause my family and I won't be going this year saving up for any possible upfront money we have to pay for the surgery and pain meds etc. So I'm hopin we can go and do a group photo at one of those old western photo shoot things where you get to pic a background and dress up in costumes and do profeshional pics, do some shopping and maybe see a show or some other stuff like go karts and minni golf etc. But if we don't get to go, pool parties are great too I love to swim and will get me started on a tan and toughin my skin up for working up at the pool for several hours for the next few months so I don't get skin poisioning like I did last year lol.
I hope this summer is alot of fun and that I get to have the surgery and loose some weight so I can get back on a healthy level and be more active and stuff. I have a doctor's appointment with someone that the doctor who is hopin to do my surgery wants me to talk to. The doctor had the bypass and wants to talk to me about the diet and life adjustments and stuff ya know. So I can make an informed decision when the time comes to surgery yes or no when insurance gives us their answer. It's in antoehr county over a mountain and it seems I have to drive up there alone so kinda nervous about that ya know. Not sure when that will be but will let ya know how it goes.
