Hey Everyone,
It all started on Sunday I think, anyway I woke up Sunday with a dry,scratchy throat and I couldn't talk above a raspy whisper. So mom felt I was comming down with something and told me to stay home and get some rest and to drink plenty of fluids etc yall know the drill. Well I felt better throughout the day and thought that I just didn't sleep well that night. I think I felt ok on Monday just sneezed or had to clear out my nose every now and then, and my voice was hoarse again, ya know regular allergy type stuff.
Well on Tuesday it got a little bit worse my throat was dryer then it had been and my nose was more stuffy and I was sneezing more. It was even worse on Wensday I was sneezing every few minutes and I could hardly talk at all unless I strained and spoke very slowly. Then on Thursday it was so bad I had to leave school and hr and 25 minutes early because I was sneezing my head of and I was having trouble breathing, so I went home and sneezed and coughed and all kinds of wonderful things.
When mom got home I helped clean the house as best I could because she would not be able to on Friday due to having a scope done. She soon sent me to bed however loaded with anti congestant medacines and my chest covered in vicks vapor rub...lovely I know. Well Friday I slept in and helped look after mom when she came hom from the scope we both layed around in the living room watching tv and sleeping.... I felt better but I still could not talk and was still sneezing quite a bit. And the same this morning felt better, I wasn't sneezing hardly at all but my nose is still stuffy from all those meds she gave me to help dry up my head.
And today I felt alot better except for the stuffy nose and still having difficulty talking, even though everyone said I was sounding more like myself...I didnt' hear it nor could I feel it becuase I was still struggling to talk and make myself heard. So that pretty much sums up my abscence. I fet so miserable I didn't even want to get online. I'm feeling better but my nose is still stuffy and my throat still feels very raw and scratchy if ya know what I mean.
Hopfully I'll be better tomorrow so I can go with my college class to the Nursing Home to have Bible lesson with them and sing to them. They don't have church services at the nursing home and a lot of the residents were saying they would like one so we voluntered to go down maybe once or twice a month and have a service for them. Plus next Sunday the college class are sponsering a spaghettie supper to raise money for the misionaries. So I hope I'lll be on top of things as I can get in time for those things.
