Hey Everyone,
Saturday:
I sure had a blast yesterday at the yuck olympics even though my freind that I invited to attend with me, blew me off so she could be with her bf...that seems to happen to me a lot lately.People I"ve known for many several years...blowing me of for someone they've only known a few months.. O well, guess I'm just not friendship material.
Anyway. We did some pretty disgusting but fun things yesterday.First we chose team names. My partner wanted us to be called the "Egg Heads" witch I really din 't care what we were called as long as we won something. Then we got ready for the the first event. What we did was we layed on the ground head to head with our partner so we couldn't see their face. Then we had to try and put eye shadow and lipstick on them by guessing where they go lol! It was sooo fun. Me and my partner were the first pair done so we got some points for that. However, it turns out he color they gave us was way to lite for our skin color and didn't show up at all. So we couldn't get the big prize of the prettiest job.
Then I had to bob for gummy worms in a kiddy pool full of water. It was fun and the water was refreshing. It was hard because the worms are really slippery when wet so you had to suck them in like noodles lol. We got the most worms I think. Then since I was the one with the wet face, I had to bob for marshmellows in a bowl full of flour....lol I had flower caked all over my face. I don 't know if we were the first ones done or not but we got the most marshmellows I think. Then we did a game of duck duck goose, the one exception to the regular game that we did was when you said goose on a person you had to crack a raw egg on their head. So our hair got full of egg goo lol.
Then we played 2 games with water balloons filled with contents like bbq sauce and water, ranch and water, or juice or coke in water. They smelled alwful. Well the first game was a regular water balloon toss. My partener and I lasted pretty long, but we didn't win. Thos balloons were very tough somtimes you'd drop them or catch them wrong, they wouldn't bust ! They'd just hit the ground and roll away and you had to catch them lol. Then the 2nd game was a war type game where you had to run around and hit opposing teams with your balloons to get points. And same as before the balloons didn't always bust lol, but they sure knew how to roll away lol.
The next game we played ws the peanut butter game, and this game was very fun. The partners sat down right accros from each other and was givin and container of creamy peanut butter, and they had to put peanut butter all over each other in an effort to make them look like something. My partner unfortunatly didnt' like getting messy so all I could do to her was make her look like a lepord with pokeadots. She made me look like a dog... figures thats, how my friends treat me. Anyway that was a lot of fun.
Then the partner that didn't do the bobbing for gummy worms or marshmellows had to bob for hershy kisses in a plate of molten chocolate. That looked yummier then the worms lol. Then we were told to sit down so that our partners head( who didnt' do the worm or flour game) so that they layed with thier head near our feet. We were giving latex gloves that we had to put on our bare feet and a bowl of cheets and try and feed our partner the cheetos with just our feet and toes...that was really hard for me, I couldn't pick them up. We thankfuly got at least one cheeto for a point.
Then the partner( who again didn't do the worms or flour) had to get blind folded and led over to the kiddy pool witch how had oatmeal added to it and lil colored balls. They had to try and get as many balls as they could in the time limit. Then the different colors counted for different scores so they had to be added up. We got 280 on that game I think.
Then it took awhile for the finnale game to be set up. We discovered that made a slip in side with a big, long pice of plastic bag type materil and unrolled it down a slope on the hill. They spread dry dogg food down it and then soaked it with water and dish soap to soften the food and make the slipd slipery. We had to slide down that slide in a creative way and go through as much dogg food as we could. And since the dog food was so moist it crumbled and stuck all over us. It was sooo disgusting. At the end we were covered in goo,dog food, and we stunk from those water balloons!
I sadly, but of course didn't win any of the metals wich were #1 for highest over all score. MVP( most valuable pare), and the messiest pare. And since all this was done outside I got a nice sunburn on both of my upper arms that have been radiating heat all day today. Well that's all for today *hugs and muahs* Byes
Sunday:
Church was really fun today, I had nursery duty again. And I had my eyes on all the babies this time not just one and so did everyone else, because they were crawling around like crazy exploring and stuff. We even had 2 of the babbies that weren't related that kept trying to kiss each other it looked like, but what was funny about it they were both boys about the same age...lol(1 or younger). So I had fun in the nursery, then we had a church meal afterwards. The food was very delicious. It was hard to decide what I could eat and not mess up my diet to badly lol. I came home did a lil reading and then took a nice long nap. I just got up at 10 till 6 and now its' 6:08 lol. Well I g2g for now *hugs and muahs* Byesss
